The DP-19 digital piano offers three pedals like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to specifically influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all tones ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains already played notes. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck tones and produces a softer sound.
