Metronome And Headphone Jacks

The DP-230 includes an integrated metronome so you can keep the correct beat and tempo while practising. Both the tempo and the time signature of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. In addition, the DP-230 features two headphone jacks so you can practise and play anytime without, for example, disturbing the neighbours. Via the second headphone jack, someone can also listen to your playing in "silent" mode.

The Pedals "Soft", "Sostenuto" And "Sustain"

With the DP-230 you have three pedals just like on an acoustic grand piano, which allow you to shape the sound of the pieces you play. The Soft pedal is on the left and — like the Sostenuto pedal in the middle — is played with the left foot. The Sustain pedal on the right is typically used most often: it lets notes ring out, while the middle Sostenuto pedal sustains only notes that were already played. The left Soft pedal reduces the volume of the struck notes and produces a softer tonal character.
