The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to deliver the most authentic and affordable acoustic instruments inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The Hummingbird Studio blends classic looks with modern functionality and is engineered to appeal equally to beginners and seasoned players.

Based on the legendary Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar, cherished by players across a wide range of genres, the Hummingbird Studio features a round-shoulder dreadnought body and a 24.75-inch scale length, just like the Gibson that inspired it. The Hummingbird Studio delivers a rich, balanced tone with excellent projection, making it an ideal choice no matter which musical style you explore. It sports a multi-layer mahogany body with six-layer Antique Ivory and Black binding on the top, four-layer Antique Ivory and Black binding on the back, and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with outstanding dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is set with a glued, tapered dovetail joint to the body and features a rounded C profile for comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a bound rosewood fingerboard with 20 standard frets and adorned with the classic split parallelogram inlays, one of the signature Hummingbird design elements. The strings pass over a compensated plastic nut and are anchored with ivory-colored bridge pins on the belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone also added other details that give the Hummingbird Studio an even stronger vintage appearance, including a hummingbird tortoiseshell pickguard with the iconic hummingbird graphics, premium Grover Rotomatic tuners for precise, stable tuning, and a 1960s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo and the Gibson Crown proudly inlaid in mother-of-pearl.

The Hummingbird Studio is equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with volume and tone controls mounted at the soundhole for quick, easy access by the player while remaining nearly invisible to the audience. The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio features a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Antique Natural and Heritage Cherry Sunburst. A standard gigbag is included.
