The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to offer the most authentic and affordable acoustic guitars inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The Hummingbird Studio blends classic styling with modern functionality and is built to appeal equally to beginners and experienced players.

Based on the legendary Gibson Hummingbird acoustic guitar, prized by players across a wide range of musical styles, the Hummingbird Studio features a round-shoulder dreadnought body and a 24.75-inch scale length, just like the Gibson guitar that inspired it. The Hummingbird Studio delivers a rich, balanced tone with excellent projection, making it the ideal choice no matter which musical style you explore. The Hummingbird Studio has a multi-ply mahogany body with six-ply Antique Ivory and Black binding on the top, four-ply Antique Ivory and Black binding on the back and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that improves with age.

The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a set, tapering dovetail and features a rounded C profile that ensures comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a bound rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets and adorned with the classic split parallelogram inlays that are a hallmark of the Hummingbird design. The other ends of the strings pass over a compensated plastic saddle and are anchored with ivory-colored bridge pins on a belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone has also added other details that give the Hummingbird Studio an even stronger vintage look, including a hummingbird tortoiseshell-style pickguard with the iconic hummingbird graphics, high-quality Grover Rotomatic tuners for precise and stable tuning, and a 60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo and Gibson crown proudly inlaid in mother-of-pearl.

The Hummingbird Studio is equipped with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys VT preamp with volume and tone controls mounted at the soundhole for quick and easy access by the player while remaining nearly invisible to the audience. The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio features a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Antique Natural and Heritage Cherry Sunburst. A standard gigbag is also included.
