The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way nearfield monitor optimized for use in smaller control rooms.

The T5V features a 5" woofer that extends bass down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART delivers an uncoloured and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz and represents a breakthrough solution for high-resolution recordings and mixes on a tight budget. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's S-series. The very uniform reproduction of high frequencies by the waveguide creates an incredibly wide sweet spot so you don’t have to remain in a fixed listening position while working.

A new cabinet with a small footprint, chamfered edges and a rear bass-reflex port allows placement anywhere in the room, no matter how small. The T5V also features DSP-controlled crossovers and equalizers as well as analog connectivity (XLR/phono). Driven by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V reaches impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a "flat" setting. With these EQ switches you can adapt the T5V’s frequency responses to precisely tune the monitors’ performance when placed on a shelf, desk or console or at different distances from walls.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter With HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-series, ADAM Audio's premium range, are now applied to the T-series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9" tweeter in the T-series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX- and S-series. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's S-series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Correction

The T5V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the S-series design and production. On the rear of the T5V you’ll find an XLR connector and a phono jack with balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV input. A two-way switch selects which connector receives the input signal. The T5V can operate automatically with AC voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. This allows connection to professional and prosumer recording systems as well as to balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.

And if you need more bottom end: the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers!

Absorber Plates

The Pronomic ISO-Stand absorber plates are ideal as underlays for studio and nearfield monitors. The foam ensures that unwanted resonances and vibrations are reduced and damped. This noticeably improves the sound characteristics of your speakers. Not only does the reduced transmission of structure-borne sound help optimize the sound, but the 2-component design does as well. This construction of the isolation wedges makes it possible to position studio monitors at five different tilt angles to perfectly align the monitors to the listening position.
