Active 7" Studio Monitor With U-ART Tweeter!

The T7V is a nearfield studio monitor designed as a vertically oriented 2-way system.

The T7V features a 7" woofer that provides bass reproduction down to 39 Hz, while the diaphragm of the U-ART tweeter offers an uncoloured, extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is fitted with a precision waveguide that delivers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's S-Series monitors. The very even high-frequency response provided by the waveguide creates an incredibly wide sweet spot so you don't have to remain fixed in a single position while you work.

The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass-reflex port as well as numerous controls and analog inputs. The U-ART tweeter is driven by a 20 W amplifier while a 50 W amplifier powers the woofer. This power pack in a slim cabinet delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.

Thanks to its wide frequency range, large dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot and small footprint, the T7V is perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production and broadcast — an attractive option for the limited budgets many facilities must work with.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter With HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-Series, ADAM Audio's premium line, are now applied in the T-Series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9" tweeter in the T-Series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeter designs from the AX- and S-Series. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that offers the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio's S-Series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Tuning

The T7V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the S-Series design and production. On the rear of the T7V you'll find an XLR connector and a phono jack with balanced +4 dBu or unbalanced -10 dBV input. A dedicated 2-way switch selects which jack receives the input signal. The T7V can operate automatically with AC voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz, so they can be connected to both professional and "prosumer" recording systems, as well as to balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.
The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V for extending low-frequency monitoring capabilities.

Two 3-way switches boost or attenuate the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a "flat" setting. With these EQ switches you can tailor the frequency response of the T5V and T7V to suit placement on a shelf, desk or console or at different distances from walls.

Absorber Plates

The Pronomic ISO-Stand absorber plates are ideal for placing under studio and nearfield monitors. The foam ensures that unwanted resonances and vibrations are reduced and damped, noticeably improving the sound character of your speakers. Not only does the reduced transmission of structure-borne sound optimize the sound, but also the two-component design. This construction allows studio monitors to be positioned at five different tilt angles, making it easy to align the monitors precisely with the listening position.
