Active 5" Studio Monitor with U-ART Tweeter!

The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way nearfield monitor optimized for use in smaller control rooms.

The T5V features a 5" woofer that extends bass down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART offers an uncolored and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz and represents a groundbreaking solution for high-resolution recordings and mixes on a tight budget. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation Waveguide (HPS) used in ADAM Audio’s S-Series studio monitors. The very even high-frequency response from the waveguide creates an incredibly wide sweet spot, sparing you from staying in a fixed position while working.

A new enclosure with a small footprint, beveled edges, and a bass reflex port on the rear allows placement anywhere in the room, no matter how small. Additionally, the T5V features DSP-controlled crossovers and equalizers as well as analog connection options (XLR/RCA). Powered by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V achieves impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a “flat” setting. With these EQ switches, you can tailor the T5V’s frequency response to perfectly match monitor performance when placed on a shelf, desk, or console or at various distances from walls.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter with HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-Series, ADAM Audio’s premium line, are now applied in the T-Series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9" tweeter in the T-Series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX and S-Series. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS Waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio’s S-Series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Tuning

The T5V features new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies, and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in design and production of the S-Series. On the rear of the T5V, you’ll find an XLR input and an RCA jack with balanced +4 dBu and unbalanced -10 dBV input. A corresponding 2-way switch selects which input jack receives the signal. The T5V can automatically operate with voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. This allows connection to professional and “prosumer” recording systems, as well as balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.

And if you need even more bottom end: the T5V is compatible with the ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers!
