Active 5" Studio Monitor with U-ART Tweeter!

The T5V is an extremely budget-friendly 2-way nearfield monitor optimized for use in smaller control rooms.

The T5V features a 5" woofer that extends bass down to 45 Hz. The new U-ART delivers an uncolored and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz, offering a groundbreaking solution for high-resolution recordings and mixes on a budget. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in the S-series studio monitors. The very even high-frequency reproduction by the waveguide creates an incredibly wide sweet spot, freeing you from staying in a fixed position while working.

A new compact enclosure with beveled edges and a rear bass reflex port allows placement anywhere in the room, no matter how small. Additionally, the T5V features DSP-controlled crossovers and equalizers as well as analog inputs (XLR/RCA). Powered by a 50 W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20 W Class-D amplifier for the U-ART tweeter, the T5V achieves impressive peak levels of 106 dB SPL per pair.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a "flat" setting. With these EQ switches, you can tailor the T5V’s frequency response to optimize monitor performance when placed on a shelf, desk, console, or at various distances from walls.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter with HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-series, ADAM Audio’s premium line, are now applied in the T-series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9" tweeter in the T-series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX and S-series. The U-ART tweeter features a precision waveguide with the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio’s S-series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Tuning

The T5V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies, and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the design and production of the S-series. On the rear panel, the T5V offers an XLR input and an RCA jack with balanced +4 dBu and unbalanced -10 dBV input. A corresponding 2-way switch selects which jack receives the input signal. The T5V can automatically operate with voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz, making it compatible with professional and "prosumer" recording systems, as well as balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.

And for those needing even more bottom end: the T5V is compatible with ADAM Sub7 and Sub8 subwoofers!

The two Pronomic speaker stands are adjustable in 6 steps from 80 cm to 130 cm in height. To prevent the top from slipping unintentionally, the stands feature a safety pin. To compensate for uneven floors, the rubber feet of the stands can be height-adjusted. Alternatively, the six included spike feet can be used. These spikes provide even better stability on carpets and, due to their smaller contact area, offer higher decoupling of the speakers from floor vibrations. The speaker platform is rubberized with two foam rubber strips, protecting the speakers from scratches and further isolating them from the stand.
