Active 7" Studio Monitor with U-ART Tweeter!

The T7V is a nearfield studio monitor designed as a vertically oriented 2-way system.

The T7V features a 7" woofer that enables bass reproduction down to 39 Hz, while the U-ART tweeter diaphragm offers an uncolored and extended high-frequency range up to 25 kHz. The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the High-Frequency Propagation (HPS) waveguide used in the S-series studio monitors. The very even high-frequency reproduction by the waveguide creates an incredibly wide sweet spot, freeing you from staying in a fixed position while working.

The metal rear panel of the T7V houses the bass reflex port as well as numerous controls and analog inputs. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20 W amplifier, while a 50 W amplifier drives the woofer. This powerhouse in a slim enclosure delivers an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 110 dB SPL per pair.

Thanks to the wide frequency response, large dynamic range, excellent transient reproduction, wide sweet spot, and small footprint, the T7V is ideal for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production, and broadcasting – an attractive option for the limited budgets many facilities must work with.

Newly Developed U-ART Tweeter with HPS Waveguide

Many of the technical innovations developed for the S-series, ADAM Audio’s premium line, are now applied in the T-series. The design of the new U-ART 1.9" tweeter in the T-series is based on the X-ART and S-ART tweeters from the AX and S-series respectively. The U-ART tweeter features a precision waveguide that provides the same excellent dispersion characteristics as the HPS waveguide (High Frequency Propagation System) used in ADAM Audio’s S-series studio monitors.

New Class-D Amplifiers and DSP-Controlled Room Tuning

The T7V is equipped with new Class-D amplifiers (20 W for the tweeter and 50 W for the woofer), universal power supplies, and integrated DSP crossovers derived from the technological advances in the design and production of the S-series. On the rear of the T7V are an XLR connector and an RCA jack with balanced +4 dBu and unbalanced -10 dBV input. A two-way switch selects which input receives the signal. The T7V can automatically operate with voltages from 100 to 240 V at 50 to 60 Hz. This allows connection to professional as well as "prosumer" recording systems, and to balanced and unbalanced I/O boxes for DAWs.
The ADAM Sub8 subwoofer is the perfect complement to the T7V to extend monitoring capabilities in the low-frequency range.

Two 3-way switches boost or cut the low and high frequencies by ±2 dB and also offer a "flat" setting. These EQ switches allow you to tailor the frequency response of the T5V and T7V to optimize monitor performance when placed on a shelf, desk, console, or at various distances from walls.

Speaker Stand

The Pronomic SLS-10 is the best choice if you want to set up your monitor speakers, DJ monitors, or hi-fi speakers flexibly and well protected in the studio or at home. With the heavy triangular base as a foundation, the stand can also be placed easily in room corners. The Pronomic speaker stand is adjustable in 6 steps from 80 cm to 130 cm in height. To prevent unwanted slipping of the top part, the stand features a safety pin. To compensate for uneven floors, the rubber feet of the stand can be height-adjusted. Alternatively, the three included spike feet can be used. These spikes provide even better stability on carpets and, due to the smaller contact area, higher decoupling of the speakers from floor vibrations.
