More bass for your white MAUI 44 G3!
The LD Systems MAUI 44 G3 SUB W is an active 15" additional subwoofer for the white MAUI 44 G3 column PA system. With 1,800 watts RMS, 3,600 watts peak and a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB SPL, it offers powerful low-frequency reserves for DJs, live music and demanding events. According to the manufacturer, the neodymium woofer reaches down to 34 Hz. The integrated cardioid preset lets you control bass dispersion in conjunction with your existing MAUI 44 G3. The subwoofer is supplied on its own, without a column speaker or integrated mixer.
15" neodymium woofer with bass reflex
A 15" woofer with a neodymium magnet and 4" voice coil operates in an airflow-optimized bass reflex enclosure. This design supports deep, precise bass and reduces turbulence at the reflex ports. The Class D amplifier delivers 1,800 watts RMS and 3,600 watts peak for ample power reserves. The second-generation DynX DSP complements the signal processing with tailored limiters and overheat protection.
More deep bass or directional bass dispersion
As an addition to your MAUI 44 G3 W, the subwoofer offers two setup options. For more bass output, point both subwoofers forward and leave the cardioid preset switched off. For a cardioid subwoofer configuration, position the additional subwoofer facing backwards beside the existing column PA system and activate the corresponding preset. This reduces bass dispersion behind the system and increases it toward the front.
Automatic FOLLOWER mode
When no speaker column is attached, the unit automatically activates FOLLOWER mode. Connect the Sub Out or System Out of your MAUI 44 G3 W to the right input of the additional subwoofer using an XLR cable. The connections include two XLR/jack combo inputs and three XLR outputs. The system is designed to expand an existing MAUI setup and has no built-in digital mixer.
Rugged construction for mobile events
The white bass reflex enclosure is made of 18 mm birch plywood with a durable polyurea coating. A shock-resistant steel grille protects the speaker, while four ergonomic handles make transport and positioning easier. Its matching color makes the MAUI 44 G3 SUB W especially suitable for weddings, galas and professional events with a white MAUI 44 G3 system.
