Powerful Speaker
The C-118SA features an 18" speaker driven by a 3" voice coil. In combination with the 800-watt (RMS) power amp, it reaches a maximum level of 126 dB.
Smart Technology
The subwoofer has two line inputs in combo format, and two XLR outputs for sending the signal on. Using the rotary control and the display, you can make all key adjustments intuitively. The front LED indicates either power on (blue) or the internal limiter engaging (red). Alternatively, the LED can be turned off completely.
DSP Presets and Additional Settings
Four sound presets are on board for different applications:
- Live: Very linear with a very low cutoff frequency
- Music: Slight bass boost at 50 Hz
- DJ: Stronger bass boost at 50 Hz
- C-Series: Tuned filters for the Pronomic C-Series cabinets
To achieve the best possible sound, the subwoofer's crossover frequency can be matched to the tweeters in use. Polarity and a delay of up to 16 ms are also adjustable.
Rugged Enclosure
The sturdy 15 mm MDF panels are finished with a durable textured lacquer. Large recessed handles sit on both sides. As you expect in pro gear, the speaker flange for optional satellite speakers features an M20 thread.

Theoretically, you may of course continue to attach components to the subwoofer yourself. However, this will invalidate any warranty claim. We are therefore unable to provide tips on how and where to best attach castors to the subwoofer.

Hello, do 2 pronomic c215 fit on the sub? How much does the threaded piece in the sub hold when a bracket is put on it?

Hello, if I connect 2 C-212 MA to the C-118SA, what is the best way to get the stereo signal from the cell phone/laptop with 3.5 mm jack to the corresponding components?
Cell phone => MA1 => SA => MA2
or
Cell phone SA => MA1 via out 1 and MA2 via out 2
or...
so that each of the MAs plays one of the stereo channels and the SA plays both...

The correct way would be to connect the cell phone to the inputs of the subwoofer using a Y-cable (e.g. this one: https://www.kirstein.de/Zubehoer-Audiokabel/Cordial-CFY-1-8-WMM-XLR-Adapterkabel-1-8-m-Schwarz.html? ) to the inputs of the subwoofer.
From there, use normal XLR cables to connect the two outputs to the left and right C-212 respectively. This will give you the best sound results.

The crossover frequency is the frequency above which the signal is passed to the tops. You set this frequency to match the frequency response of the tops you are using (e.g. if your tops have a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz, set the subwoofer to 100Hz).
Delay is only needed if you are setting up a delay line for very large events.
The polarity can be switched to prevent phase cancellations when operating two subwoofers.
