Powerful Speaker
The C-118SA features an 18" speaker driven by a 3" voice coil. Combined with the 800 watt (RMS) amplifier, it achieves a maximum volume of 126 dB.
Smart Technology
The subwoofer has two combo-format line inputs and two XLR outputs for signal pass-through. All key settings can be intuitively adjusted using the rotary knob and display. The front LED optionally indicates power on (blue) or internal limiter activation (red). Alternatively, the LED can be completely switched off.
DSP Presets and Additional Settings
Four sound presets are included for different applications:
- Live: Very linear with a very low cutoff frequency
- Music: Slight bass boost at 50 Hz
- DJ: Stronger bass boost at 50 Hz
- C-Series: Tuned filters for Pronomic C-Series speakers
To achieve the best sound results, the subwoofer’s crossover frequency can be adjusted to match the tweeters used. Polarity and a delay of up to 16 ms are also adjustable.
Robust Enclosure
The sturdy 15 mm MDF panels are coated with a durable textured lacquer. Large handles are located on both sides. As expected in professional setups, the speaker flange for possible satellite speakers features an M20 thread.

Theoretically, you may of course continue to attach components to the subwoofer yourself. However, this will invalidate any warranty claim. We are therefore unable to provide tips on how and where to best attach castors to the subwoofer.

Hello, do 2 pronomic c215 fit on the sub? How much does the threaded piece in the sub hold when a bracket is put on it?

Hello, if I connect 2 C-212 MA to the C-118SA, what is the best way to get the stereo signal from the cell phone/laptop with 3.5 mm jack to the corresponding components?
Cell phone => MA1 => SA => MA2
or
Cell phone SA => MA1 via out 1 and MA2 via out 2
or...
so that each of the MAs plays one of the stereo channels and the SA plays both...

The correct way would be to connect the cell phone to the inputs of the subwoofer using a Y-cable (e.g. this one: https://www.kirstein.de/Zubehoer-Audiokabel/Cordial-CFY-1-8-WMM-XLR-Adapterkabel-1-8-m-Schwarz.html? ) to the inputs of the subwoofer.
From there, use normal XLR cables to connect the two outputs to the left and right C-212 respectively. This will give you the best sound results.

The crossover frequency is the frequency above which the signal is passed to the tops. You set this frequency to match the frequency response of the tops you are using (e.g. if your tops have a frequency response of 100Hz to 18kHz, set the subwoofer to 100Hz).
Delay is only needed if you are setting up a delay line for very large events.
The polarity can be switched to prevent phase cancellations when operating two subwoofers.
