High-Quality DSP Sounds With Easy Operation!
The C-Series subwoofer from Pronomic delivers clear, punchy sound at an incredible price. Reliable engineering and a stage-ready enclosure set a new standard for this speaker.
Powerful Speaker
The C-118SA features an 18" speaker driven by a 3" voice coil. Combined with the 800 Watt (RMS) amplifier, it achieves a maximum level of 126 dB.
Practical Technology
The subwoofer has two combo-format line inputs and two XLR outputs for signal routing. Using the rotary control and the display, all key settings can be made intuitively. The front LED indicates power (blue) or when the internal limiter is active (red). Alternatively, the LED can be turned off completely.
DSP Presets and Additional Settings
Four sound presets are on board for different applications:
- Live: Very linear with a very low cutoff frequency
- Music: Slight bass boost at 50 Hz
- DJ: Stronger bass boost at 50 Hz
- C-Series: Tuned filters for Pronomic C-Series speakers
To achieve optimal sound results, the subwoofer's crossover frequency can be adjusted to match the tweeters used. Polarity and a delay of up to 16 ms are also adjustable.
Sturdy Enclosure
The sturdy 15 mm MDF panels are finished with a durable textured paint. Large recessed handles are located on both sides. As is standard in the professional sector, the speaker flange for potential satellite speakers features an M20 thread.
