Two Different Sound Modes
AIR delivers an open character with pleasantly emphasized high-end. The right choice when you want great sound without spending time on post-production. FLAT offers a linear frequency response for “as-it-is” playback of drums, strings, acoustic guitars, and choirs. Perfect if you’re into realistic soundscapes.
Perfect Stereo Image Through Precise Matching
Lewitt uses one of the most precise matching processes in the industry. The difference between the two microphones of a stereo pair is inaudible. How does it work? The frequency response and sensitivity of each individual microphone are analyzed. A measurement system controls the capsule’s polarization voltage to adjust sensitivity so it’s identical for all LCT 140 AIR units. Then an algorithm compares the measured frequency response of each microphone and finds the perfect pairs for you.
Low-Cut Filter and PAD
To be prepared for all eventualities, the LCT 140 AIR features a low-cut filter and a PAD. This way, you won’t sweat with extremely loud instruments, nor have to deal with low-frequency noise if you don’t want to.

Accessories for Professional Stereo Recordings
If you want to create high-quality recordings, using a microphone shock mount is almost unavoidable. Since the mounts for the microphones are fully rubber-damped, vibrations from the mic stand hardly reach the capsule. Alongside the two shock mounts, there is a 30 cm long stereo bar for precise microphone adjustment. This results in significantly better speech and vocal recordings than with a conventional mic clip.
