The natural characteristics of hi-hat and snare are captured precisely. You get a powerful and clear reproduction of your drum kit’s distinctive sound.
Perfectly Matched Stereo Pair
Stereo creates a three-dimensional and thus more authentic listening experience. Just like our ears, the position of a sound source can be determined by level and/or time differences. With two matched cardioid microphones, you can create perfectly balanced stereo recordings.
Durable and Lightweight Aluminum Housing
The LCT 040 MATCH is built for durability yet remains lightweight thanks to its CNC-machined aluminum housing weighing only 44g. Together with its compact form factor, positioning and setup become simple tasks.
Stereo Matching
Lewitt measures the frequency response and sensitivity of each microphone they produce. Their measurement system controls the capsule’s polarization voltage to adjust sensitivity so that all LCT 040 MATCH microphones are identical. An algorithm compares all measured frequency responses and assembles the perfect pairs. These are then packaged and shipped to you.
Cardioid Polar Pattern
The cardioid pattern picks up sound mainly from the front of the microphone. Background noise is kept out, which means your signal stays transparent and clear.
Accessories for Professional Stereo Recordings
Anyone aiming for high-quality recordings can hardly avoid using a microphone shock mount. Since the mounts for the microphones are fully rubber-isolated, vibrations from the mic stand barely reach the capsule. Alongside the two shock mounts, there is a 30 cm stereo bar for precise microphone adjustment. This results in significantly better speech and vocal recordings than with a conventional mic clip.
