"Twin-Piano" Function
The keyboard is split into two halves or two small, separate keyboards. This allows, for example, music students and teachers to sit side by side and play – like on two independent pianos.
"Layer" Function
With "Layer" you can stack two voices – for example strings and piano – and combine them. This creates a particularly impressive, full sound.
"Split" Function
Want to play strings with your left hand and piano sound with your right? No problem! The "Split" function divides the keyboard into two separate zones that you can assign different voices to individually. As with "Layer," the volume of the two zones can of course be controlled separately.
Tuning and Transposing? No Problem!
With the "Tune" function, you can fine-tune your DP-50 in cents to match the piano’s tuning to other instruments if needed. The "Transpose" function allows you to change the pitch in semitone steps. This lets you easily play a song in a different key – but with the same fingering – making it easier to adapt to other instruments or singers.
Focused Practice with Metronome and Headphones
The integrated metronome helps you stay in time and keep the tempo while practicing. The tempo can be adjusted according to your progress, as can the volume of the "click." The DP-50 features two headphone jacks, ensuring you can practice and play anytime without disturbing roommates or neighbors. The second headphone jack can be used by a "silent listener" of your piano playing.
Foldable Music Rest
Whether you work classically with a music book or use an app on your tablet or smartphone, your sheet music always finds a secure place in the optimal field of view. When not needed, the music rest can be easily and attractively folded back.
32-Note Polyphony
The DP-50 can play up to 32 notes simultaneously. This range allows playing most pieces from classical as well as rock and pop genres with stereo sound and simultaneous use of different voices.
Pedal Unit for "Soft," "Sostenuto," and "Damper"
Like a grand piano, the DP-50 offers three pedals that let you influence and shape your music.
The "Soft" pedal (left) reduces the volume of the struck notes and produces a softer sound. It is played with the left foot, as is the middle sostenuto pedal.
The damper pedal (right) is used most often. It lets notes ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains already played notes longer.
USB Audio/MIDI Interface and Playback Function
The integrated USB audio/MIDI interface lets you connect the DP-50 directly to your computer or MIDI sampler. This allows the piano to be used as a master keyboard with all common sequencer programs.
Additionally, external devices like smartphones or MP3 players can be connected and played directly via the stereo-in jack (rear). You can accompany the played music on the piano, making the repertoire for practicing and playing along almost limitless.
2-Track Recording and Playback
The built-in recording function lets you record and playback your piano playing. The storage capacity is about 9000 notes per track. This feature is perfect for assessing your piano playing progress.

In order for the iPhone to communicate with the piano, you need a cable to connect it. Unfortunately, we do not have the right cable in our range yet. The piano has a USB type B port. A cable is needed that goes from this port to the desired port of your iPhone (I assume Lightning).
