Everything You Need To Start Playing Guitar!
Ideal for beginners and advancing guitarists! Whether for music lessons, band practice, live on stage or around the campfire, this guitar will bring you joy everywhere. Here you get an excellent guitar at a bargain price. See for yourself!
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 - The Perfect Starter Or Second Instrument
The Classic Cantabile AS-851 is perfect for guitar beginners. With a scale length of 61 cm the instrument is ideally sized for children and teens from about 8–11 years old. Of course adult beginners also benefit from the easy playability of the AS-851.
Selected Materials - Clean Workmanship
Only selected materials are used for AS-851 guitars. The laminated top and body produce a beautiful, warm tone and the neatly crafted bridge transfers the strings' vibration, even with a gentle finger attack, down to the smallest detail. The smooth-action tuning machines also ensure excellent tuning stability.
A Tone That Speaks For Itself!
Especially for beginners it's important that learning is fun. A guitar must not only be functional to ensure optimal learning progress, but the sound must also deliver. The AS-851 models provide plenty of fun with their expressive tone and allow a good assessment of your own playing.
Classic Look
The AS-851 stands out visually with its light natural top and dark-tinted body. The elaborately crafted rosette, the attractive decorative tuning machines and the understated headstock round off the overall look.
Which Guitar Size Is Right?
Scale length indicates the size of a guitar — or more precisely the length of the vibrating string between nut and bridge. The standard scale is 650 mm and corresponds to a 4/4 guitar. All other sizes are therefore smaller and are recommended accordingly for children and teenagers.
Our Recommendations For The Scale Length Matching Age And Body Size:
| 1/4 Size | Age 4 to 7 years | Height up to 110 cm | Scale approx. 47–49 cm |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1/2 Size | Age 5 to 9 years | Height 110 to 130 cm | Scale approx. 53–55 cm |
| 3/4 Size | Age 8 to 11 years | Height 120 to 140 cm | Scale approx. 59–62 cm |
| 7/8 Size | Age 10 to 13 years | Height 130 to 150 cm | Scale approx. 62–63 cm |
| 4/4 Size | Age from approx. 14 years | Height from approx. 150 cm | Scale approx. 63–65 cm |
Here you get an excellent guitar starter set with everything included at a bargain price!

The action is smooth, the neck is fretless and the string action is optimal.
The instrument also looks chic and motivates the "little guitar beginner".
I have been playing guitar myself for over 30 years and can warmly recommend this instrument.
A bad, stiff and difficult to play guitar is usually the reason why guitar students give up.
I would buy this instrument again ...

The Christmas surprise for my daughter has succeeded! Thank you very much!
However, when tuning the strings, we found that the G side cannot be tuned because the peg keeps loosening.
After the shutdown, we will bring the guitar over and have it "fixed",
I'm sure with the friendly and reliable service at Kirstein this shouldn't be a problem!
And then we can start with the online lessons at the Kirstein Music Institute!
My daughter is already looking forward to it!
With kind regards
and stay healthy!
