Three Cajons in One!

This finely crafted Pro Cajon from XDrum's "Peruana" series with a 9 mm thick birch body, 2 Schlagplatten, and 2 different snare effects offers (besides its impressive design) sounds at the highest level.

Size and Craftsmanship

The cajon with 2 Schlagplatten consists of a 7-ply birch body with 9 mm thickness. The precisely glued parts reveal a beautiful grain, rounded corners and edges not only look great but especially the ergonomic cutouts on both Schlagplatten sides significantly ease playing tip, slap, and more. The Peruana design on the Schlagplatte highlights the connection to the South American homeland of the instrument. With a seating surface of approx. 31 x 30 cm and a height of approx. 50 cm, the cajon offers excellent seating and playing comfort.

Birch Side

The light 3-ply birch Schlagplatte delivers a powerful bass sound with a clearly audible snare. Thanks to the easily operated external mechanism, the snare effect, created by two half, 20-spiral snare carpets, can be simply flipped away and thus switched off. Played without snare effect, the sound almost leans towards conga.

Ash Side

The black lacquered ash Schlagplatte provides a somewhat subtler bass with extremely sensitive snare response. To adjust the intensity of the snare effect to personal taste, the tension of the strings can be set with the included hex key. The key itself is stored inside the box and thus never gets lost.

Screwed Schlagplatten and Clap Corners

Since the Schlagplatten are fully screwed, the clap corners can be finely adjusted with a screwdriver, enabling incredible tonal richness.

Including Bag

Included is a bag made of durable nylon material, which protects your cajon optimally with 1 cm thick padding. A 37 x 19 cm large outer pocket offers ample storage space for sheet music, small shakers, and other accessories. Besides the classic carrying handle on top, this gig bag even features a shoulder strap. So you can take your cajon by bike, scooter, or on foot to your destination: where you set the groove!
