Excellent Sound with UHF Wireless Technology!

The portable Silent Guide transmitter, with its compact size and easy operation, is excellently suited for tour guides and museums as well as all kinds of guided tours and exhibitions.

Wireless Technology

Using noise-free UHF technology, the transmitter sends your signal at 863 - 865 MHz (license-free!) to any number of Silent Guide receivers within approximately 75 m. The large external antenna allows interference-free operation up to about 50 m distance.

The SDT-BP30 offers 2 input options:

• AUDIO: The AUX input with a 3.5 mm stereo jack accepts any playback device. You can play pre-recorded audio files or simply add tasteful background music. The required cable is included.
• MIC: An optional microphone (e.g. SDH-100) is connected to this jack to send explanations and answers clearly and understandably to surrounding headphones.

For a balanced volume ratio, the levels of microphone and audio signal can be adjusted independently right on the transmitter; a short press of the top on/off button mutes the unit completely.

Required Batteries

The transmitter requires only two standard AA batteries, which provide a runtime of approx. 24 hours. To protect the environment, rechargeable batteries may also be used and charged directly in the unit via the USB cable.

Easy Handling

A front display shows the current channel and transmission frequency, which are selected with the buttons. The transmitter can be worn on the body with the belt clip, which is especially useful for city tours or sports events.
