The Silent Guide V2 Museum Set is designed for museum operators, exhibitors, tour guides and sports organizers who need to deliver clear information and/or music to groups of up to 30 people. Even in loud environments, participants can move freely within a 50 m radius without missing a word.

The Transmitter

Using noise-free UHF technology, the transmitter sends your signal at 863–865 MHz (license-free!) to any number of Silent Guide receivers within about 75 m. The large external antenna enables interference-free operation up to approximately 50 m.

The SDT-BP30 offers two input options:

• AUDIO: The AUX input with a 3.5 mm stereo jack accepts any playback device. Pre-recorded audio files can be played or tasteful background music can be added. The required cable is supplied.
• MIC: An optional microphone (e.g., SDH-100) can be connected to this input to send commentary and responses clearly to the surrounding headphones.

For a balanced volume mix, the microphone and audio levels can be adjusted independently on the transmitter. A short press of the on/off button on top mutes the unit completely.

Required Batteries

The transmitter requires just two standard AA batteries, which provide around 24 hours of operating time. To protect the environment, rechargeable batteries may also be used and can be charged directly in the device via the USB cable.

Easy Handling

A front display shows the current transmit channel and frequency, which you select with the buttons. The transmitter can be carried conveniently with the metal belt clip, which is especially useful for city tours or sports events.

Everything Included

In addition to the transmitter, a USB charging cable and a 2 m AUX cable are included in the package.

The Receivers

Any headphones with a 3.5 mm stereo jack can be connected to the receiver. This allows participants to join tours while enjoying the familiar feel and sound of their own headphones.

The dynamic microphone is quick and easy to fit over the ears and plugs into the transmitter's jack. The mic capsule sits on an 11 cm gooseneck for precise positioning. The included windscreen is particularly useful outdoors to ensure clear voice transmission in any environment. Tour guides and sports organizers appreciate the solid sound quality.

Headphones
