The Silent Guide V2 Conference Set is aimed at event organizers, museum operators, tour guides and other promoters who want to supply a group of up to 4 people with clear information and/or music. Even in noisy surroundings, all participants can move freely within a radius of 50 m without missing anything.

The Transmitter

Using noise-free UHF technology, the transmitter broadcasts your signal at 863 - 865 MHz (license-free!) to any number of Silent Guide receivers in a radius of approx. 75 m. The large external antenna enables interference-free operation up to about 50 m distance.

The SDT-BP30 offers 2 input options:

• AUDIO: The AUX input with a 3.5 mm stereo jack can play any playback device. Pre-recorded audio files can be played or background music can be added. The required cable is supplied.
• MIC: An optional microphone (e.g. SDH-100) is connected to this input jack to send explanations and answers clearly to the surrounding headphones.

For a balanced volume mix, the microphone and audio signal levels can be adjusted independently on the transmitter; a short press of the On/Off button on the top of the unit mutes the system completely.

Required Batteries

The transmitter requires only two standard AA batteries, which provide about 24 hours of operation. To protect the environment, rechargeable batteries can also be used and charged directly in the unit with the supplied USB cable.

Easy Handling

An on-screen display on the front shows the current transmit channel and frequency, which can be selected with the buttons. The transmitter can be worn comfortably on the body with the belt clip, which is particularly useful for city tours or sporting events.

Everything Included

In addition to the transmitter, a USB charging cable and a 2 m AUX cable are included.

The Receivers

Any headphone with a 3.5 mm stereo plug can be connected to the receiver. This allows participants to join a tour while still enjoying the familiar feel and sound of their own headphones.

Easy Handling

An on-screen display on the front shows the current receive channel and frequency, which can be selected with the buttons. The receiver can be worn conveniently on the body using the belt clip, which is particularly useful for city tours or sports events.

Microphone

The dynamic microphone is placed quickly and easily at the ear and plugged into the transmitter’s jack. The capsule is mounted on an 11 cm gooseneck, making it easy to position. Especially outdoors, the windscreen helps to ensure clear speech transmission in any environment. Tour guides and event organizers appreciate the good sound quality.
