The Pronomic Silent Disco V2 models feature the same sophisticated technology as their predecessors but differ in design and transmit frequency. As a result, Version 2 delivers a cleaner transmission and improved comfort. With this transmitter you can expand any existing Pronomic Silent Disco V2 set into a system with up to three transmitters.
Wireless Technology
Connect the transmitter to your audio source via the two phono inputs, and you're ready to go: using noise-free UHF technology the transmitter broadcasts your signal at a frequency between 863 and 865 MHz (license-free!) to any number of SDH-340 Silent Disco V2 headphones up to approx. 150 m. The large external antenna enables clear operation up to approx. 100 m.
Easy Operation
A front display shows the currently selected transmit channel, which is chosen using the push button. On the rear is the OFF/LO/HI switch to set the transmit power or to turn the unit completely off. All of this is housed in a sturdy, durable metal casing in a handy format.
Microphone Input
In addition to the phono input there is a 3.5 mm jack for dynamic microphones. This allows spoken announcements and explanations to be mixed into the music. Conveniently, when someone speaks into the microphone the music volume is automatically reduced.
Built-In Battery
When the transmitter is charged with the supplied power adapter it can operate independently of mains power. On battery power the transmit output is limited to "LO" (approx. 30 m range), but the battery life of at least 4 hours is more than sufficient for many outdoor events such as yoga, open-air cinema, or guided groups.
Compatibility
Please note that the Silent Disco Version 2 series is not compatible with first-generation devices or the Silent Guide series. When purchasing individual components, make sure that all items are marked with the "V2" designation!
