Band Rehearsal at Room Volume!
With the Silent Disco V2 Band Set from Pronomic you kill several birds with one stone: rehearsing at home becomes possible because you neither need a large room for big speakers nor do you disturb your neighbors with a loud noise level (unless you use an acoustic drum kit). Just connect an electronic drum kit, amplifier, microphone or the instrument directly to a mixer and put on the headphones!
Simple Principle
The set includes 1 transmitter which sends the audio signal to the headphones. The headphones feature a volume control so each band member can set their individual level at any time. With one or two optional additional transmitters (depending on the mixer) operation with three different mixes is also possible. The channel selector on the headphone lets each musician pick their optimal mix.
The Transmitter
Connect the transmitter to the console via the two phono inputs and you're ready to go: using noise-free UHF technology the transmitter broadcasts your signal between 863 and 865 MHz (license-free!) to any number of headphones up to approx. 150 m. The large external antenna enables noise-free operation up to approx. 100 m distance and with the integrated battery the system can be used for 4 to 5 hours independent of mains power. All of this is housed in a sturdy, durable metal casing in a handy format.
The Headphones
Equipped with an adjustable headband and soft ear pads, the headphones offer high wearing comfort for hours. At the same time they sit secure enough not to slip off even during livelier stage action. In addition to the on/off switch there is a channel selector and a volume control. Depending on the selected channel the headphones light up in blue, red or green to indicate who is hearing what. The headphones also deliver high audio quality: the 38 mm Mylar drivers provide professional listening pleasure from 20 to 15,000 Hz with solid bass, clear highs and excellent speech intelligibility. The built-in battery powers the headphones for over 10 hours, so long rehearsal nights are no problem.
The Charging Unit
Clever solution: with just one outlet you can charge up to 16 headphones at once. The charging time for a full battery is approx. 3 hours.
Compatibility of Radio Frequencies
Please note that the radio frequencies of the Silent Disco Version 2 series are not compatible with devices of the first generation or the Silent Guide series. When buying single components make sure that all items carry the designation "V2"!
Connector Compatibility
When purchasing headphones and charging units pay attention that they use the same connector format for charging (either Mini-USB or USB-C).
