Why shouldn't beginners also demand quality? The DD-460 from XDrum offers high-quality multi-layer sounds, mesh-head pads, cymbals with choke function - and all that in a very compact setup.

Velocity-Sensitive Pads

Like an acoustic drum kit, the digital drum set responds to the drummer's stroke intensity. As hit strength increases, not only the volume changes but the sound itself evolves, just like on an acoustic kit. All "acoustic" sounds feature two sample layers, so, for example, the attack of a tom grows with the volume. The hi-hat sounds even have 3 layers (closed, half-open and open). All cymbal pads feature a "cymbal choke" function: you can stop the sound immediately after striking by hand.

Mesh Heads

These special woven heads are ideal for e-drums and provide an extremely authentic response. Compared to conventional rubber pads, mesh heads deliver an unparalleled playing feel and realistic rebound. The trigger signal is transferred optimally to the sound module, enabling nuanced, dynamic playing. The XDrum DD-460 gives you three tom pads and one snare pad, each with an 8-inch diameter.

Module Features

A total of 30 preset kits give you a quick and sensible selection of sounds, allowing you to cover everything from rock/pop to percussion and electronic tones. Each of these 30 drum kits can be individually adjusted to your needs. The metronome helps you solidify your timing, while the built-in songs let you give free rein to your emotions. If the onboard songs don't suit your taste, you can connect your smartphone or tablet to the module via the aux input and play along to your own personal mix.

Special Features of the DD-460P

Unlike the 460C, the 460P features a kick pad with a foot pedal that can be customized to your preferences. With an optional double pedal, thunderous double-bass drumming is no problem. The snare pad provides two different sounds (head and rim), and the hoop even has a rubber ring to protect your sticks. In addition, the snare pad is mounted on an L-rod with an extra joint, making positioning easier. All cymbal pads can be muted by hand.

Active Speaker

The AP-30 Drum Monitor is the perfect complement to your e-drum set, but of course also great for many other instruments that need external amplification. Whether at home, in the rehearsal room or on stage, the AP-30 delivers perfect sound in an extremely compact package. In addition, the AP-30 features a highly effective 3-band equalizer so you can tailor the sound to your needs—whether punchy and present up front or quiet and restrained in the background.

Drum Stool

This stool features a round seat (Ø 28 cm) in leather look and stands on three non-slip rubber feet. The 28 cm diameter seat is fitted with 4 cm thick padding, allowing comfortable sitting even for longer periods. The stool can be set unusually low, which makes it particularly suitable for very young drummers.

Course

The "Beginner" course from drumfreaks.de includes, in the Kirstein edition, the most important fundamentals of drumming. It starts with the correct stick hold and leads up to the first proper grooves. Detailed videos accompany you on your way to becoming a drummer.

Sticks

XDrum sticks offer pleasant playability and excellent sound characteristics at an incredible price. Thanks to the grippy surface, these sticks can be played without annoying slipping, while the extra-hard wood ensures a long service life.

Instrument Cable

Pronomic instrument cables are ideal for guitarists, bassists or keyboard players. The flexible cables are fitted with screw-on metal jack plugs that allow access to the solder joints or can be replaced individually if required. Thanks to the high-quality shielding, the cables are protected against interference even over long runs, and the footstep noises often heard with cheap cables are not present with Pronomic cables.
