The Clavinova digital pianos are renowned for their incomparable piano sound, authentic playing feel and fast key repetition. The new Clavinova CVP-700 Series also combines the sounds of two world-class grands — the CFX, Yamaha's top concert grand, and the Bösendorfer Imperial — in a single digital piano.

Tuned to perfection by highly experienced piano technicians and with individually sampled sounds for each key, the new Clavinova series captures the unique character of these outstanding concert grands perfectly. Thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), you get the full spectrum of these acoustic instruments, with even the finest tonal nuances faithfully recreated.

A Real Piano Deserves a Real Touch

The GH3X keyboard uses a hammer mechanism similar to that of a concert grand (without springs). It accurately reproduces the feel of an acoustic instrument, with heavier touch on the low keys and a lighter touch on the high keys. The GH3X keyboard features a three-sensor system whose touch and response closely resemble a grand piano keyboard.

The new GH3X keyboard also simulates the slight resistance (the "key dip") you feel on an acoustic grand when a key is pressed very softly.

Synthetic ivory keytops reproduce the pleasant surface of genuine ivory keys once used on the finest pianos. The highly absorbent material retains its optimal surface and comfortable grip even after hours of playing, preventing your fingers from slipping. In addition to the smooth, luxurious feel, synthetic ivory is easy to care for and only needs to be wiped with a soft cloth.

Clavinova Is Ready for Your Session

In Session Mode you can invite three other musicians to accompany you in the Piano Room. They automatically follow your playing harmonically, either in Full-Keyboard Mode or Split Mode — and with the Dynamics Control function they even adjust their volume to the musical expression of your playing. In the new Piano Room you can even record your performance including the session musicians with just one button press.

Yamaha's Super Articulation Voices enrich your playing with authentic tonal characteristics of acoustic instruments that sound as if they were produced by real instrumentalists rather than a keyboard. The Style Recommender is an intelligent function that selects suitable accompaniment styles based on what you play. You don't need to know the song title — the rhythm alone is enough. Sing in Perfect Harmony... with Yourself!

Sing karaoke with the internal songs stored on your Clavinova or those downloaded from Yamaha MusicSoft.Com. The lyrics are displayed on-screen and change color to show when it's your turn to sing. You can also display the lyrics on a large TV so everyone can join in. Plug in a microphone and you can sing along with your playing.
