The stylish design of the LP-380U digital piano enhances any interior and fits everywhere with only 26 cm depth. Its elegant slimline chassis gives the impression of a valuable piece of furniture when the keyboard lid is closed. A special feature is that the keyboard lid lowers slowly to prevent finger pinching. The RH3 keyboard, three pedals and powerful, large-area speakers guarantee high playing pleasure and detailed piano sounds. Available in chic black or noble white finish.

The LP-380U switches between four piano samples depending on playing dynamics, delivering a playing feel almost equal to an acoustic piano. From subtle pianissimo to powerful fortissimo, the sound reacts absolutely realistically to every nuance of the performance. Especially the classic piano and grand piano sounds reproduce the resonances created by the damper pedal of an acoustic piano in such an impressive way that you experience the instrument’s sound world anew and enjoy it in amazement.

Authentic Vintage Electric Piano Sounds

Special emphasis was placed on authentic and convincing electric piano sounds. The standard electric pianos reproduce not only the nuanced tonal response to the touch but also the subtle noises when releasing the keys. The six electric piano variations emulate all the most popular electric piano sounds from 60s and 70s pop and soul music.

30 Brilliant Sounds from Various Categories

Besides pianos and electric pianos, the LP-380U integrates a total of 30 expressive, high-quality sounds. In layer mode, two instruments can even be played simultaneously, and in partner mode, the keyboard is split into two halves so that two musicians can play in the same pitch range. For "silent" duo performances, two headphone jacks are available. Furthermore, you can choose from nine different tuning systems for historically authentic performances.

Three Effects for Realistic Sound

Brilliance controls the brightness of the sound, reverb simulates the natural room sound (reverberation) of a concert hall, and chorus creates even more spatiality.

Powerful Amplifier System for Rich Volumes

The amplifier system of the LP-380U offers 2 x 22 watts, the highest power in its price class, and reproduces expressive piano sounds with powerful bass, sparkling highs and fantastic sound richness. The two 10 cm large speakers are integrated under the keyboard into the case and create the typical resonances of an acoustic piano that envelop the entire instrument.

RH3 Keyboard for Authentic Playing Feel

The Real Weighted Hammer Action 3 (RH3) keyboard offers the same playing feel as an acoustic piano, with harder response in the bass and increasingly lighter response in the treble. Overall, the touch has been further improved to allow even extremely fast passages to be performed expressively. With the three-stage key touch control function, you can precisely define how the playing dynamics affect the signal output and thus tailor the LP-380U’s response to your own playing style.

Light, Compact Construction for Easy Transport

Since pianos sometimes need to be relocated, the LP-380U was built about 5 kg lighter compared to its predecessor (LP-350), greatly simplifying both transport and setup.

LINE OUT Jack for Additional Options

Active speakers or recording devices, for example, can be connected to the LINE OUT jack (3.5 mm stereo) of the LP-380U.

Full Pedal Operation

The LP-380U features the three pedals of a grand piano including half-pedal support for the damper and soft pedals. The pedals are firmly attached at the perfect spot on the LP-380U and operate exactly like those on a real piano.

MIDI Capability

The LP-380U supports MIDI, the universal standard for transmitting performance data between electronic musical instruments and computers. Since devices connected via MIDI can control each other, the LP-380U can also be used as a multitimbral sound module with 16 parts.

The Metronome for the Right Beat

The integrated metronome allows you to set the time signature, tempo and volume and emphasize accents with a bell sound.

USB MIDI/AUDIO

To use the LP-380U as a MIDI keyboard with your smartphone, tablet or computer, simply connect it with a USB cable. This allows your smartphone, tablet or computer to be used as an external sound module, record musical performances externally, and play the sound from the smartphone or tablet through the LP-380U’s speakers.
