Synthetic Ebony and Ivory Texture

The elegant keyboard design offers the same luxurious tactile and visual properties as real ebony and ivory. The carefully textured surface prevents your fingers from slipping even during extended playing sessions.

Multi-dimensional AiR Sound Generation

AiR stands for "Acoustic and intelligent Resonator" and refers to CASIO's newly developed multi-dimensional sound generation. This sound engine, together with other innovations, forms the core of the new digital piano technology. The result is an unprecedentedly realistic digital reproduction of the playing and tonal behavior of a grand piano.

Layer

This function lets you stack two tones on top of each other, for example combining a soft grand piano sound with strings. Perfect for ballads and slow, romantic pieces!

Split

Split lets you divide the keyboard into two zones, e.g. a bass on the left hand and a piano or vibraphone on the right for swing and jazz.

Hall Simulator

The hall simulator is a high-quality digital effect that reproduces the unique acoustic ambience of selected famous halls, concert venues, cathedrals and arenas in detail and naturally through elaborate simulation.

Hammer-Response

The specific feel of a piano also comes from the time delay between key attack and string sound. The size and mass of the hammer heads and the time before they hit the strings directly relate to pitch and touch intensity. CASIO's "Hammer-Response" technology faithfully reproduces this mechanical characteristic of an acoustic instrument.

String Resonance

CASIO's unique string resonance system provides an accurate simulation of the sympathetic and interacting strings of all 88 keys. In addition, the nuances produced by pressing the damper pedal ("damper resonance") are reproduced authentically.

Piano Bench

The clever spindle mechanism with a double-scissor system guarantees smooth and extremely durable height adjustment from 47 to 56 cm. Small details like the rubber stoppers between the base frame and the support frame set this fine piano bench apart from others in this price range. The Steinmayer piano bench can also be assembled by non-professionals in a few minutes. The required tools are included in the delivery.

Headphones

The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass response and clear highs. It offers substantial volume while maintaining precise stereo imaging.
Of course the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. Each side extends in 12 steps for optimal fit. For even more wearing comfort the ear cups are mounted on two-axis pivots. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.

It introduces the beginner to the instrument in a playful, relaxed way.
