Synthetic Ebony and Ivory Texture

Multi-Dimensional AiR Sound Generation

AiR stands for "Acoustic and intelligent Resonator" and refers to Casio's newly developed multi-dimensional sound generation. This sound engine, together with other innovations, forms the core of the new digital piano technology. The result is an unprecedented, lifelike digital reproduction of the playing and sonic behavior of a grand piano.

Layer

This function lets you stack two tones—for example combining a soft grand piano sound with strings. Ideal for ballads and slow, romantic pieces!

The Hall Simulator is a high-quality digital effect that recreates the distinctive acoustic environments of famous halls, concert venues, cathedrals and arenas with detailed, natural simulations.

Hammer-Response

The specific playing feel of a piano also comes from the time delay between the key strike and the string sounding. The size and mass of the hammer heads and the time until they hit the strings are directly related to pitch and touch dynamics. Casio's "Hammer-Response" technology faithfully reproduces this mechanical characteristic of an acoustic instrument in detail.

String Resonance

Casio's unique string resonance system provides a precise simulation of the sympathetic and interacting piano strings across all 88 keys. Additionally, the nuances produced by pressing the damper pedal ("damper resonance") are reproduced authentically.

Piano Bench

The sophisticated spindle mechanism with a double-scissor system guarantees smooth and extremely durable height adjustment from 47 to 56 cm. Small details like the rubber stoppers between the base frame and the support frame set this elegant piano bench apart from others in its price range. The Classic Cantabile piano bench can also be assembled by non-professionals in just a few minutes. The necessary tools are included.

Headphones

The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while still providing clean and precise imaging in the stereo field.
Of course, the softly padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension provides 12 steps on each side for optimal adjustment. For extra wearing comfort, the ear cups are mounted on two-axis swivels. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also ensures good external noise isolation.
