Synthetic Ebony And Ivory Texture

The refined keyboard design offers the same luxurious tactile and visual qualities as real ebony and ivory. The carefully roughened surface texture prevents the fingers from slipping even during extended playing sessions.

Multi-Dimensional AiR Sound Generation

AiR stands for "Acoustic and intelligent Resonator" and refers to Casio's newly developed multi-dimensional sound generation. This sound engine, together with other innovations, forms the core of the new digital piano technology. The result is an unprecedentedly realistic digital reproduction of the playing and tonal behaviour of a grand piano.

Layer

This function lets you stack two tones, for example to combine a soft grand sound with strings. Ideal for ballads and slow, romantic pieces!

Split

Split lets you divide the keyboard into two zones, e.g. a bass in the left hand and a piano or vibraphone in the right for swing and jazz.

Hall Simulator

The hall simulator is a high-quality digital effect that can realistically and naturally reproduce the special acoustic ambience of selected famous halls, concert venues, cathedrals and arenas through elaborate simulation.

Hammer Response

The specific touch of a piano also arises from the time lag between key depression and the string sounding. The size and mass of the hammer heads and the time until they strike the strings are directly related to pitch and attack intensity. Casio's "Hammer Response" technology reproduces this mechanical characteristic of an acoustic instrument in great detail.

String Resonance

Casio's unique string resonance system precisely simulates the sympathetic vibrations and interactions of the piano strings across all 88 keys. In addition, the nuances produced by pressing the damper pedal ("damper resonance") are faithfully reproduced.

Piano Bench

The sophisticated spindle mechanism with double-scissor system guarantees smooth and extremely durable height adjustment from 47 to 56 cm. Small details such as the rubber stoppers between the base frame and support frame set this attractive piano bench clearly apart from other benches in this price range. The Classic Cantabile piano bench can be assembled by non-experts in just a few minutes. The required tools are included in the delivery.

Headphones

The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume while still providing a clean and precise stereo image.
Of course, the soft-padded, wide headband is length-adjustable. The extension provides 12 steps on each side for optimal fit. For enhanced wearing comfort the ear cups are mounted to rotate on two axes. The thick, soft padding of the circumaural cups also provides good external noise isolation.

Piano Method

Getting started is easy - the new edition of Michael Christoph's piano method follows this motto. If you fear the piano is too hard to learn, you need this method. It introduces the beginner to the instrument in a playful, relaxed way. Starting with familiar simple melodies up to two-handed performance of complete songs, a lot of theory is taught alongside the exercises. Reading music, rhythm, dynamics and much more are covered in parallel with the exercises. The straightforward exercises also guarantee quick learning success.
