Weighted Hammer-Action Keyboard With Adjustable Touch Sensitivity

The DP-210’s weighted keyboard with real hammer action simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics as authentically as possible. The 88 keys have a certain "natural" resistance when pressed, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard also features touch sensitivity, meaning the notes sound at different volumes depending on how firmly you press a key. With the different settings ("Touch Response" = touch sensitivity) you can, for example, produce a relatively loud sound even with a gentle touch (setting "Soft"). This function is often especially helpful for the youngest piano beginners. To protect the keyboard reliably from dust, the DP-210 is equipped with a keyboard cover.

128-Note Polyphony

Thanks to 128-note polyphony, the digital piano can reproduce up to 128 tones simultaneously. With this repertoire of available tones, players can apply voices from different musical styles—from classical to rock—often with stereo sound.

For both "Layer" and "Split" the volume of the different sounds can be set separately.

To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-210 includes an integrated metronome. Both the tempo and the metronome volume can be adjusted as desired. In addition, the DP-210 features two headphone jacks. These ensure that you can practice and play at any time without disturbing, for example, your neighbors. The "Soft", "Sostenuto" And "Sustain" Pedals

Like an acoustic grand piano, the DP-210 digital piano provides three pedals that let you shape the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and—like the sostenuto pedal in the center—is played with the left foot. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most frequently. It lets notes decay, while the middle sostenuto pedal sustains only notes that were already played. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of struck notes and produces a softer timbre.
