Improvements in Detail

The key design has been completely reworked. This improves ergonomics and gives a more comfortable playing feel compared with older models like the YFL-211. Parts of the mechanism feature a pointed key mechanism to distribute pad pressure evenly and optimize the air flow inside the instrument. The pads under the keys are slightly firmer, providing better sealing with less finger pressure and greater resonance, especially in the lower registers. The headjoint of the YFL-212 flute is made of nickel silver and helps beginners produce a powerful, full sound.
