Classic Cantabile Cleaning Set for Flute!

This cleaning set from Classic Cantabile is essential gear for every flutist. The flute is a precious instrument that needs thorough and careful cleaning. Proper care ensures – as with any instrument – that the musician enjoys their instrument for a long time.

Rod and Wiping Cloth

The cleaning rod and wiping cloth are designed for the internal cleaning of the flute. Using the weight on the cord, the cloth can be easily pulled through the instrument or alternatively wrapped around the rod and gently pushed through the individual parts of the flute. This cleaning process should be done after every playing session. This effectively prevents deposits (from saliva etc.) inside the flute that would damage it over time.

Cleaning Cloths

The small cloths are intended for coarser dirt on the outside of the flute. Please note that these cleaning cloths are exclusively for external cleaning and must not be used for internal cleaning of your flute.

Polishing Cloth

The polishing cloth is intended for polishing your flute.

Pad Papers

These paper sheets are used when the keys of the flute, after extended playing, no longer lift easily as they do when dry, but tend to "stick." Simply place one of the pad papers under the flute key, press lightly on the key, and pull the paper out at the same time.
