Yamaha YTS-280 Tenor Saxophone!
The YAS/YTS-280 saxophones provide a perfect start, as they were specifically designed for young beginners. They are relatively lightweight and feature an especially ergonomic shape, making them comfortable to hold and easy to play.
As you would expect from Yamaha, the intonation is perfect and the tone is excellent. Yamaha's design gives beginners optimal support and fosters both the students' learning process and their creativity. The YAS/YTS-280 saxophones are based on the popular 275 series but include some additional innovations such as a more robust S-bow attachment and a new low B/C# connection for a more precise setup.
New Reinforced S-Bow Attachment
The new S-bow attachment improves the tone, provides quick response and offers enhanced stability.
Improved Low B/C# Connection
The improved low B/C# connection with a longer lever helps close the low C# key, enhances the response of low notes and enables a more consistently precise setup.
Adjustable Thumb Hook
All Yamaha saxophones feature an adjustable thumb hook to set a comfortable hand position.
