For Perfect Instrument Care!
With the Lechgold care kit you have everything essential in one pouch. The high-quality components give you comfortable playability and a long life for your instrument.
Bite Plate
Reduces excessive vibration without losing the feel for the mouthpiece. Prevents the teeth from slipping off the tip of the mouthpiece and thereby supports embouchure and technique. Protects teeth and mouthpiece from damage. When placed in the ligature area, the bite plate prevents the reed and ligature from slipping.
Pull-Through Swab
The highly absorbent, washable microfiber cloth has a 1.2 m long cord with a brush (Ø 10 cm) and a weight at the cord end.
Pull-Through Swab for S-Bow
The highly absorbent, washable microfiber cloth has a 55 cm long cord with a brush (Ø 5 cm) and a weight at the cord end.
Slide and Cork Grease
Isolates condensate from the tuning slides and thus prevents corrosion and the seizing of inner slides. It is a relatively "stiff" grease with just the right consistency for optimal slide action. Often also used to lubricate seals on slides whose precision is not ideal. At the same time it is an ideal grease for caring for and lubricating the tenon joints on woodwind instruments. The cork is protected from moisture and remains supple while offering excellent lubricating properties. La Tromba Slide and Cork Grease is a high-tech product among lubricants. It is very temperature-stable and resistant to aging and reliably prevents slides or corks from seizing.
Microfiber Cloth
The Kirstein microfiber cloth, thanks to its particularly soft and smooth surface, provides optimal dust pickup and leaves surfaces perfectly clean. Even extremely delicate surfaces can be cleaned scratch-free with this cloth, as the edging is very fine and delicate. Due to its relatively low water absorption, the Kirstein microfiber cloth is excellent for dry use. Afterwards the cloth can be washed in the washing machine at 60° C. Please note: do not use fabric softener. The microfiber cloth should be washed before first use to ensure any production residues are removed prior to the first application.
Pouch
The pouch made of water-repellent polyester, with approximate dimensions of 7 x 8 x 20 cm, offers enough space for wind-instrument accessories.
