packed in 2 cartons with bubbles in between. I had a Vandoren 2 1/2 reed I mount it on the mouthpiece delivered with the sax and there 2nd surprise the sound comes out relatively well. The next day I received the Selmer Seles prologue mouthpiece (too bad it's not available on this site) with reeds n°2 and there it's bluffing all the notes come out well until F# whereas on the Yamaha or the Jupiter I always had problems from E. I forgot to say as well as the description of the saxophone that it comes with a swab that stays inside when you put it away. I'm very satisfied with my purchase even if there are a few minor varnish drips. I'm waiting to refill the box a little to order an identical tenor.
