Optimized 2nd Generation of the Schreiber D26 - For Advanced Players!
Like few other woodwind makers, W. Schreiber combines the tradition of clarinet craftsmanship with state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The latest tools, carefully selected precision machines, highly trained staff, and above all a keen sense for tonal and playing characteristics have made W. Schreiber one of the leading clarinet manufacturers.
Advanced students and adults will find the D26 in B flat the perfect instrument. It features six rings and offers fantastic playability. This sets the stage for an expanded musical repertoire. Another special feature of the D26: the additional resonance hole on the upper joint improves the intonation of the high fork B.
W. Schreiber Presents: The New Generation 2.0!
Across all models from the D12 to the D61, the tone hole network has been optimized. This significantly ensures balanced intonation and easier blowing resistance.
The changed positioning of the keys not only improves their fit on the body but also guarantees optimal sealing of the tone holes. Alongside the optimized bore, which creates less resistance inside the instrument and a consistent airflow thanks to the smooth transition from the lower joint to the bell, the new bell shape with thicker walls is primarily responsible for the full sound and greater projection.
The overall package of mainly acoustic innovations is visually rounded off by the perfected surface treatment, which brings out the elegant wood grain of the new generation of W. Schreiber clarinets to perfection.
High-Quality Materials & Excellent Craftsmanship
The surface of the grenadilla wood is left natural and impregnated in the traditional way with native linseed oil. This effectively protects the wood against moisture and gives it an elegant, silky appearance. The silver-plated rings in the new refined design, the high-quality, very durable engraving, and the silver-plated leaf screw complete the polished look of the W. Schreiber clarinets.
All models now come equipped with reeds from AW Reeds, made in Germany.
