The Virtuoso is packed with numerous features. A standout are the newly designed ring keys. Their improved ergonomic shape supports the player perfectly and offers a relaxed playing experience.
Additionally, the instrument is equipped with a bell mechanism that optimizes the tuning of the low notes. The tone hole design has been acoustically optimized. The solid nickel silver mechanism is heavily silver-plated.

The comfortable thumb rest with attachment option for a neck strap provides ideal relief for the right hand. Blued needle springs ensure smooth key action.

High-quality leather pads guarantee excellent sealing of the instrument, and a classy leather-look case offers optimal protection. The case cover provides ample space for sheet music and accessories while ensuring great carrying comfort.

Across all clarinet models from the D12 to the D61, the tone hole network has been optimized. This significantly contributes to balanced intonation and easier blowing resistance.

The repositioned keys not only improve the fit of the keys on the body but also ensure optimal sealing of the tone holes. Alongside the optimized bore, which creates less resistance and a steady airflow thanks to the smooth transition from the upper joint to the bell, the new bell shape with thicker walls is mainly responsible for the full sound and greater projection.

The overall package of mostly acoustic innovations is visually rounded off by the perfected surface treatment, which beautifully highlights the elegant wood grain of the new generation of W. Schreiber clarinets.

The surface of the grenadilla wood is left natural and impregnated in the traditional way with raw linseed oil. This effectively protects the wood against moisture and gives it an elegant, silky appearance. The silver-plated rings in the new refined design, the high-quality, very durable engraving, and the silver-plated leaf screw complete the polished look of the W. Schreiber clarinets. All models now come equipped with reeds from AW Reeds, made in Germany.
