The repositioned keys not only improve the fit of the keys on the body but also ensure optimal coverage of the tone holes. Alongside the optimized bore, which creates less resistance in the instrument and a smooth airflow thanks to the seamless transition from the lower joint to the bell, the new bell shape with thicker walls is mainly responsible for the full sound and greater projection.
