F-Tuba from Cerveny's 2024 Moravia Series!
The distinctive tonal character and special charm of instruments from Bohemian production are achieved through traditional manufacturing methods. This model stands out with clear intonation and good response, making it ideal for orchestras and players who value an authentic Bohemian sound in the bass register.
The Cerveny F-Tuba CFB 681-6GR is crafted from high-quality brass. The leadpipe is made of gold brass, which sounds softer and warmer than other materials—perfect for durability combined with optimal tonal qualities. The valve cluster is made of nickel silver—as is the bell flange—enhancing the bell's stability.
The traditionally crafted bell forms the basis for very easy response and impressive sound projection. The bell of the CFB 681-6GR tuba has a diameter of 400 mm.
Premium Components for Comfortable & Enjoyable Playing
The valve cluster features Minibal® joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action.
The water key is mounted on the main tuning slide. The aesthetic and ergonomic design of the valve caps provides maximum playing comfort. The spiral spring valve mechanism is maintenance-friendly and, combined with the double Minibal® joints, guarantees trouble-free playing for years.
The baked-on lacquer finish ensures easy care and lasting shine. The adjustable thumb ring allows each player to find an individual, optimal right-hand position.
The tuba is delivered in a sturdy hard shell case and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
