5-Valve F Tuba With Adjustable Trigger on the 2nd Valve!

The Lechgold F-Tuba FT-26/5 stands out for its open responsiveness, thanks to the larger bore, and for its very broad, dark, and voluminous tone. The tuba and bell are made of brass, the slides of nickel silver. The bell diameter measures 440 mm, the conical bore is 20.0 - 21.0 mm.

The tuba scores above all with its removable and interchangeable leadpipe. The scope of delivery includes a brass leadpipe; optional leadpipes in nickel silver (rawer tone) or gold brass (smoother tone) are available. The possibility to remove the leadpipe is also a major advantage for optimal cleaning or in the event that a repair is required.

Adjustable Pitch Compensation

The tuba features an adjustable trigger on the 2nd valve (left middle finger). The 5th valve is located in the 4th valve crook. The mechanism is fitted with original Minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action.

Interchangeable Leadpipe

The supplied brass leadpipe can be exchanged for optional leadpipes in gold brass or nickel silver.

Note: If you order the tuba together with an optional leadpipe, we will precisely fit it in our master workshop.
