The FH-24GR flugelhorn is carefully crafted in the tradition of outstanding Bohemian-made instruments. This ensures good intonation and a clear response—above all, the characteristic tonal color of a rotary-valve flugelhorn of German design, commonly used in concert bands, brass ensembles and traditional brass music.

The flugelhorn is unlacquered, giving it a distinctive appearance from the outset. The patina that develops over the years adds an individual character to the instrument.

Lechgold Flugelhorn with Cylindrical Valves

The unlacquered Lechgold FH-24GR delivers the big yet centered sound that is so typical for a rotary-valve flugelhorn. A trigger on the 3rd valve slide provides precise intonation.

Flugelhorn and bell are made from high-quality gold brass, while the slides are crafted from nickel silver. The bell diameter is 160 mm and the bore measures 10.5 mm.

The finger hook at bell height doubles as the sole support, producing an optimal vibrational response. With the preinstalled marching lyre holder you are ready to play anywhere at once.

The flugelhorn is delivered in a practical lightweight case with backpack straps and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.

With this flugelhorn you receive a high-quality brass instrument manufactured in a multi-stage production process. Plus: a personal final inspection by an experienced brass instrument maker on site.

The instrument is equipped with Minibal joints, guaranteeing perfect and reliable valve action. Developed in 1994 by Martin Seibold in Dietramszell (Upper Bavaria), the Minibal joint ensures precise, reliable and noiseless rotary-valve movement. The patented ball joint has proven itself over the past 30 years and is valued by amateurs and professionals alike.
