Rotary-Valve Flugelhorn For Traditional Orchestral Sound!
The FH-24GL flugelhorn appears in 2024 as a special-edition model for Lechgold's 10th anniversary and is the first Lechgold flugelhorn of German design.
The flugelhorn is carefully crafted in the tradition of excellent instruments from Bohemian production. This achieves good intonation and a clear response—but above all the characteristic tonal color of a rotary-valve flugelhorn, which is mainly used in community bands, brass ensembles and traditional brass music.
The Lechgold Anniversary Flugelhorn
The lacquered Lechgold FH-24GL delivers the big yet centered sound characteristic of a rotary-valve flugelhorn. A trigger on the 3rd valve slide helps achieve clean intonation.
The flugelhorn and bell are made from high-quality gold brass, the slides from nickel silver. The bell diameter is 160 mm, the bore measures 10.5 mm.
The finger hook at the bell serves as the only support, resulting in optimal resonance of the instrument. With the preinstalled marching lyre holder you're ready to play anywhere, instantly.
The flugelhorn is of course delivered in the practical lightweight case with backpack fittings and includes a silver-plated mouthpiece.
With this flugelhorn you get a high-quality brass instrument produced in a multi-stage manufacturing process. Plus: a final personal inspection by an experienced brass-instrument maker on site.
High-Quality Minibal Joints
The valve section is equipped with Minibal joints, ensuring perfect and reliable valve action. Developed in 1994 by Martin Seibold in Dietramszell, Upper Bavaria, the Minibal joint guarantees precise, reliable and silent rotary-valve movement! The patented ball joint has proven itself over the past 30 years and is valued by amateurs and professionals alike!
Tone Quality
By using top-quality materials, Lechgold achieves an outstanding tonal character across all registers. Easy response and flawless intonation form the foundation for genuine playing enjoyment.
Tradition, Innovation & Passion
Lechgold's philosophy is to make unique instruments at an affordable price. The long alpine brass-music tradition serves as a major inspiration. Proven craft techniques are used alongside state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. Selected materials and consistently high quality make Lechgold popular with brass musicians of all genres.
Lechgold not only places the highest value on reliability and traditional craftsmanship, but also on giving musicians from the start the best possible foundation for unclouded enjoyment of their wind instrument.
