After some tests I came across the large product range of Josef Klier, which offers a huge choice with differentiated gradations of mouthpiece sizes. I found what I was looking for with the Exclusive 6 F mouthpiece: Sound, response, especially in higher registers are good and the soft and warm flugelhorn tone is also still achieved. Originally I favored the 5 E or F. In the end, however, the wider rim of the 6 series (5.25 mm) tipped the scales.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the JK mouthpiece Exclusive 6 F and gladly award the highest score for response, sound and workmanship.
