The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio EC is part of the brand-new Epiphone Studio Acoustic Collection. These guitars were completely redesigned to deliver the most authentic and affordable acoustics inspired by the legendary Gibson designs. The Hummingbird Studio EC blends classic looks with modern functionality and is built to appeal to both beginners and seasoned players alike.

Based on the legendary Gibson Hummingbird acoustic, cherished by players across many genres, the Hummingbird Studio EC features a round-shoulder dreadnought body with a cutaway for easier access to the upper frets. The Hummingbird Studio EC produces a rich, balanced tone with excellent projection, making it an ideal choice no matter which style of music you explore. The Hummingbird Studio EC features a multi-layer mahogany body with six-layer Antique Ivory and Black binding on the top, four-layer Antique Ivory and Black binding on the back, and a solid spruce top for a responsive, balanced tone with excellent dynamic range that continues to open up with age.

The mahogany neck is joined to the body with a glued, tapered dovetail joint and sports a rounded C profile that ensures comfortable playability. The neck is fitted with a bound rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets and is adorned with the classic split-parallelogram inlays that are a hallmark of the Hummingbird design. The string ends are routed over a compensated plastic saddle and anchored with ivory-colored bridge pins on a belly-up rosewood bridge.

Epiphone has also added several details that give the Hummingbird Studio EC an even stronger vintage vibe, including a hummingbird tortoiseshell pickguard with the iconic hummingbird graphics, premium Grover Rotomatic tuners for precise, stable tuning, and a '60s Kalamazoo-style headstock with the Epiphone logo and Gibson crown proudly inlaid in mother-of-pearl.

The Hummingbird Studio EC is fitted with Fishman electronics, including an S-Core under-saddle pickup and a Fishman Presys II preamp with side-mounted controls for volume, bass, treble, and phase. It also features a convenient integrated electronic tuner for quick, easy tuning. The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio EC has a gloss finish and is available in two vintage-inspired colors: Antique Natural and Heritage Cherry Sunburst. A standard gigbag is included.
