Active Studio Subwoofer with 2 x 6.5-Inch Long-Throw Woofers!

The WS-6.2 is an active studio subwoofer featuring 2 x 6.5-inch long-throw woofers. It’s designed to be both powerful and compact, taking up less than half the space of a comparable subwoofer. Despite its small footprint, it delivers a maximum sound pressure of 120 dB and a low frequency response down to 27 Hz.

The woofers are arranged horizontally opposite each other to avoid unwanted vibrations. A built-in 80 Hz high-pass output makes it ideal for pairing with most common studio monitors, including Kali Audio’s LP and IN series.

In addition to the 80 Hz crossover, the subwoofer can be set to LFE mode or used with an external crossover. The polarity can also be reversed if needed.

Like all Kali speakers, the WS-6.2 features a unique port tube that virtually eliminates "chuffing" and port compression, delivering clear, powerful bass with minimal distortion.

A new amplifier module reduces self-noise by 12 dB while increasing input sensitivity by 3 dB. The tuning has been refined for smoother high-frequency response, and the boundary EQs have been updated for common practical studio setups. New is the preset for speaker placement on desktop stands. Other improvements include lighter driver membranes for better transient response and enhanced cabinet construction for greater reliability.
