The new LP-6 studio monitor is part of Kali’s 2nd Wave speaker series. The models in the "2nd Wave" reissue are based on 3 years of research and development and have been improved in every aspect.
A new amplifier module reduces self-noise by 12 dB, while input sensitivity has been increased by 3 dB. The tuning has been refined for smoother high-frequency response, and the boundary EQs have been updated for common practical applications. New here is the preset for positioning the speakers on desktop stands. Other improvements include lighter driver membranes for better transient response and an enhanced enclosure design for greater reliability. Proven and unique features like waveguide technology, woofers with oversized magnets, and the sophisticated bass reflex system have naturally been retained, making the LP-6 2nd Wave studio monitor a reliable tool regardless of genre or budget.
