Touchscreen Controls

The interface with the color touchscreen allows quick access to monitoring, settings, and built-in editing functions. All features are always just one tap away.

Mic Preamp Slider

Use the Mic Preamp Slider to control the level or gain for each microphone. When adjusting, ensure level peaks fall within the "Good Range." Peaks in the "Over Range" can cause distorted sound.

Limiter

The limiter prevents distortion during sudden level spikes.

High-Pass Filter

The high-pass filter reduces low-frequency noise such as air conditioning, street noise, or vibrations common in most recording situations.

Tone Control

Use the tone control to enhance voices by boosting bass or treble for the perfect podcast sound.

Compressor/De-Esser

The compressor/de-esser adds presence and rounds out the perfect podcast studio sound.

Noise Reduction

Select the Noise Reduction option on the On-Air screen to automatically lower microphone levels on unused tracks, reducing background noise.

It Speaks Your Language

The P8 touchscreen display can be set to one of six languages. Choose from English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, or Japanese.

Thanks to color-coded inputs, outputs, and controls, quick adjustments on the P8 are a breeze, letting you focus fully on the conversation.

Crystal Clear Recordings

This Call Will Be Recorded

The P8 includes a dedicated recording channel for phone calls. Additionally, channel six can activate a USB mode to record your remote guests via computer. Both options include a mix-minus function to prevent echo and feedback on the caller’s end.

On-Air Button

Channels with ON AIR disabled still output to headphones but are not recorded or sent to speakers or USB port. This is handy for side conversations or prepping your guests during breaks.

Wireless Connectivity

With the separately available Zoom BTA-2* Bluetooth receiver, you can wirelessly connect your phone to record external guests. *BTA-2 sold separately.

Premium Production

For even more professional-sounding podcasts, use the nine colorful sound pads to trigger sound effects, intro music, jingles, pre-recorded interviews, and more. Choose from 13 pre-installed sounds or upload your own. You can create up to four sound banks to play a total of 36 sound clips at the push of a button.

Outputs for Every Application

The P8 offers six independent headphone outputs, each with its own volume control. For professional use, you can connect studio monitors to the P8’s main outputs.

Editing Options

Built-in editing functions let you easily trim, split, and fade your audio clips to finalize your show on the P8. Alternatively, transfer the recorded track files to your computer for final mixing.

Take Your Studio Anywhere

For recordings outside your studio, the P8 offers up to two hours of recording time with four AA batteries. For longer sessions, simply connect a USB power supply.

Condenser Microphone for Studio Recordings

The new Pronomic CM-22 is a professional large-diaphragm microphone ideal for demanding studio applications. Headphones

The Pronomic KH-900 is a professional stereo headphone combining excellent sound characteristics with maximum wearing comfort at a budget-friendly price. The soft, wide faux leather headband automatically adjusts to head size, ensuring a comfortable fit. The KH-900 covers a wide frequency range from 15 to 25,000 Hz, delivering balanced, nuanced sound with brilliant, clear highs and precise, rich bass. With a low impedance of just 32 ohms, the KH-900 performs impressively even on very low-power headphone outputs like MP3 players or smartphones, providing powerful sound and enough headroom. The 3.5 mm stereo jack offers excellent transmission quality. A 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.

Microphone Arm

Made entirely of metal, the McGrey microphone arm offers stable handling at a reasonable price. The arm fits into the robust table clamp and can be secured against twisting. The foam rubber insert in the clamp protects the table surface from unsightly scratches. Four springs reliably hold your microphone in place while allowing individual adjustments. This ensures consistent voice quality and full flexibility in microphone positioning. The 3/8" thread fits all standard microphone clamps and shock mounts; a reducer thread and a mic clamp are included for immediate use.

XLR Cable

Stage Pro-Line cables use only oxygen-free copper, ensuring durable, consistent quality and corrosion protection. The connectors are hand-soldered and feature strain relief clamps, so solder joints are free from mechanical stress. A high-density copper shield effectively protects the audio signal from impact noise and electromagnetic interference from power supplies and cables.
