The DXS15 MkII is the new member of Yamaha's DXS series. Deep frequencies down to just 40 Hz and a maximum sound pressure level of 135 dB are its hallmarks. The optimized bandpass design and the state-of-the-art DSP processor deliver extremely high, low-distortion output.

The DXS range features a completely redesigned bandpass cabinet that delivers extremely high sound pressure levels while significantly reducing the tendency to distort. The custom low-frequency driver with superior damping accurately transfers the brute force of the highly efficient 1020 W Class-D amplifier.

Yamaha's impressive DSP technologies are cleverly used to precisely tune filters and to provide perfect control over the low end. They also enable high-quality protection functions that ensure all components can reach their full potential. With another refined DSP feature called D-XSUB, you can choose between the bass settings NORMAL, BOOST and XTENDED LF. In NORMAL mode the bass response is perfectly balanced, while in BOOST mode it sounds tighter and more precise. In EXTENDED-LF mode the low bass is extended downward, resulting in a massive foundation.

Extremely Robust - Easy to Mount

With Pronomic distance poles you can mount tops directly on subwoofers — and at the correct height. Almost all subwoofers already have a compatible receptacle. Depending on the design, the poles either screw on with an M20 thread or simply slide on using the 35 mm end.

Pronomic distance poles are also ideal for heavy active tops. A locking pin, additionally secured with a set screw, prevents accidental slipping. The robust construction guarantees long life even under the toughest stage conditions.
