The new DXS12 MkII features a boosted 1020W power amp that delivers an impressive 134 dB and reaches down to 42 Hz. Try the D-XSUB "BOOST" or "XTENDED LF" settings for low-frequency shaping, crank the volume and watch eyes widen and jaws drop. All this comes in a compact, easy-to-install enclosure.

The DXS series stands out with a completely redesigned band-pass style enclosure that produces extremely high sound pressure levels while significantly reducing the tendency to distort. The custom woofer with superior damping accurately transfers the raw power of the highly efficient 1020W Class-D amplifier.

Yamaha's impressive DSP technologies are smartly applied for precise filter tuning and perfect control over the low end. They also provide high-quality protection features that ensure every component can perform at its best. One refined DSP feature called D-XSUB lets you choose between the bass settings NORMAL, BOOST and XTENDED LF. In NORMAL mode the bass is perfectly balanced, while BOOST delivers a tighter, more precise response. In XTENDED LF mode the low end is extended downward, creating a massive foundation.

Extremely Robust - Easy to Mount

With the Pronomic speaker poles you can mount top cabinets directly on the subwoofer — at the correct height. Almost all subwoofers already include the matching receptacle. Depending on the version, the poles can be screwed in via an M20 thread or simply plugged on using the 35 mm end.

Safe and Durable

Pronomic speaker poles are also well suited for heavy powered tops. A locking pin — additionally secured with a set screw — prevents accidental slipping. The robust construction guarantees long service life even under the toughest gigging conditions.
