Flexible Sound Marvels for Budget-Conscious Users!
The active speakers of the Economy series are the perfect all-round speakers for semi-professional use. Besides the option to connect a microphone or a direct line signal, the active 2-way speakers can even play MP3 files from USB and SD as well as via Bluetooth®.
10" Speakers with 1.0" Compression Driver
The cones housed in the sturdy plastic enclosure are powered by the built-in amplifier with 100 watts output. By splitting the audio signal between the two speakers at 3.0 kHz, a clear, powerful sound with excellent presence is achieved.
Connection Options
The first of the two channels is equipped with an XLR and a jack socket, allowing both line signals and direct operation with dynamic microphones. The second channel is for wired use of, e.g., laptops and MP3 players via RCA. The incoming signal on this channel can even be routed via an Aux output to another device.
Media Player and Bluetooth® Receiver
A handy feature for occasional DJs and party hosts: the integrated media player plays music from USB sticks and SD cards, which can be controlled directly from the player and infrared remote control. The wireless option works via a Bluetooth® connection, allowing music to be streamed from smartphones and tablets to the speaker. Whether music is currently played from the media player or the Aux input can be selected with the MP3/AUX button.
Equalizer and Speaker Flange
An easy-to-use 2-band equalizer quickly and effectively adapts the speaker’s sound to the current environment. The zero positions of both controls have detents for easy return to neutral. To mount the speaker on a conventional speaker stand, there is a 35 mm speaker flange with clamping screw on the bottom, which secures the speaker against accidental rotation.

All in all, we’re happy with our new monitoring system—great sound on stage, lightweight, and no more power amplifiers. For the front speakers, we use two Pronomic C 212 MA on stands. We control the entire setup with a small Behringer X-Air XR18 mixer. This combination allows us to adequately cover venues for up to about 150 people. For larger venues or outdoor events, we use other active systems and subwoofers for the front.
We’re a five-piece rock band and are very satisfied with this setup.
So, a definite recommendation to buy the Pronomic speakers!
The speakers were delivered within two days! Excellent service from Kirstein!
