Plus, more channels with fully flexible patching across 4 customizable layers, a completely redesigned user interface, key hardware upgrades, expanded connectivity, and Dante options for every model in the series.
The QU-5 adopts the popular shape of the QU-16 and now includes Allen & Heath’s powerful XCVI processing, new FX engines, and Everything I/O connections. It also boasts a larger capacitive touchscreen, channel strip displays, customizable layers, and extra SoftKeys. The QU-5D version adds a built-in 16x16 48/96 kHz Dante port for seamless integration with other Dante-enabled devices. Both the QU-5 and QU-5D are rack-mountable 32-channel digital mixers running at 96 kHz, combining powerful audio processing and professional features with easy operation and practical control.

The new Qu retains the beloved design and form of the original Qu series but upgrades several hardware components to enhance sound quality and mixing experience.
Audio
Updated microphone preamps and powerful 96 kHz AD/DA converters deliver crystal-clear sound to and from the XCVI core, preserving every detail of the source.
Control
Each channel now features a channel display showing the channel name, type, or connection number, plus a chromatic level meter for instant level info. The new touchscreen offers a fully revamped user interface.
Dante-Enabled
The Qu-5D provides a 16x16 Dante interface at 96 kHz or 48 kHz for integration into larger systems or installations.

Every Qu model offers plenty of recording and playback options, featuring a built-in 32x32 USB-C audio interface, 32-channel multitrack support via SD card, and simple stereo recording and playback through the USB-A port—no matter what your plans are.
Improved Workflow
The original Qu series was popular for its ease of use and speed, making it the perfect mixer for engineers transitioning from analog. The new Qu series takes it further, maintaining the "Walk up and mix" user-friendly approach. It adds to the classic 1:1 Qu routing options with four fully customizable layers, more assignable SoftKeys to optimize workflow, and flexible routing options—all accessible via a newly developed, fast, and responsive user interface.
SLink
Compatible with Everything I/O
Thanks to the SLink port, Qu can connect with the rack and stagebox expansions of the Everything I/O family, making it a flexible mix-and-match solution for those who already own other Allen & Heath digital systems. It can even connect directly to other Allen & Heath consoles, offering up to 128x128 channels at 96 kHz audio for patching.
DEEP Processing
Qu now supports DEEP Processing, bringing the proven add-ons from the flagship dLive system to the Qu platform for the first time. It also features feedback and gain assistants from the CQ series, simplifying setup and speeding up your soundchecks.
Gain Assistant
Setting gain for each individual channel might not be the most exciting task and can take a lot of time when managing multiple channels. Qu’s Gain Assistant simplifies this by quickly and accurately setting the ideal gain level for one or more input channels while continuously monitoring levels during performance to avoid unwanted peaks or surprises.
Feedback Assistant
Qu’s user-friendly Feedback Assistant automatically detects and removes problematic frequencies with up to 16 filters per output, so you can mix confidently without worrying about feedback.
AMM Automatic Mic Mixer
Qu’s automatic 32-channel microphone mixer (AMM) is the perfect choice for conferences, panel discussions, and TV shows. It’s fully integrated into the mixer with zero added latency, so you don’t need to route audio to an internal DSP rack or external plugin system.
